PHOTOGRAPHISM and Art-Mediation


During classes participants will have the chance to reflect on and improve the use of nowadays technologies through stimulating creativity and basic tips on Digital Photography, Graphic Design, Blogs and Networking, as well as, bringing into mind, the concepts of art-mediation to enhance Education.

At the end of this course, you will be able to make the best use of your smart phone camera and better understand its features, and also you will learn how to use some applications for photographic and graphic design, such as: MOLDIV, SNAPSEED, PIXLR, IMAENGINE, VIVA VIDEO and others.

Not only this, but we also expect the participant to design his/her own art-educational activity, using the new gadgets and knowledge presented.

Required Background


To successfully complete this course, you must be interested and motivated about Photography, Design, Visual Arts, Technologies and Networking, and also be open minded and willing to produce visual arts and activities for a Collective Art Exhibition.

You will need to have access to a smart phone, tablet or notebook, which you will use for photographing, editing and broadcasting, as well as
the following applications downloaded: MOLDIV, SNAPSEED, PIXLR, IMAENGINE and VIVA VIDEO for smart phones and tablets. For notebooks and PCs we will use GIMP and INKSCAPE.
